Papers relating to clinical anatomy and anatomy education are invited.
Investigators may indicate whether they would prefer to present either a
podium or poster presentation, however, the committee reserves the right to
assign submissions to podium or poster presentations.
Abstracts accepted for presentation (podium or poster) will be published in
the conference proceedings. Both modes of presentation will receive equal
weighting in the conference proceedings. Abstracts may also be published
in Clinical Anatomy, the official journal of the ANZACA.
Abstracts due by 5 pm October 1st, 2010.
Instructions:
Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words (excluding author names,
addresses and title).

- Write title in bold capitals.
- List presenter's name first in CAPITALS (the presenter's family name first,
followed by their initials). For all other authors, initials before
family name in CAPITALS. On a separate line, give contact address(es).
- In a new paragraph write the abstract, using the following headings:
- Purpose - General background and rationale followed by specific statement of
purpose
- Methods - Summarise most important aspects of methodology
- Results - Include quantitative summary of main results.
- Conclusion - Specific statement based on presented results.
- DO NOT add in any text formatting.
- References are not normally required.
- Abbreviations should only be used for common terms. For uncommon terms, the
abbreviation should be given in brackets after the first full use of the word.
- Pictures / Diagrams will not be published in the journal, though may be included
in the conference proceedings (size is limited). These can be emailed
separately.
