Creating Anatomy Crosswords Workshop
Learning gross and
microscopic anatomical terminology can seem like having to learn a new language
for new students. A fun way to help reinforce these terms and assist revision
is to provide the students an alternative means of study in the form of
crosswords. This fun, relaxed and hands-on workshop will demonstrate a
crossword software tool that will help you design and create a crossword for
use in your teaching. Each participant will create and take home their
self-created crossword and answer sheet (as a pdf document).
Maximum
30 participants. Date: 1 December 2010 Location: 14.15-15.30 Rm.
211 Dry Teaching Laboratory, Level 2, Medical Sciences 1 Building. Cost: $20.
