FHS Teaching & Learning

The purpose of this website is to bring together some T&L resources of specific interest across schools in the Faculty of Health Science. This is the only place where you will find Faculty policies, FT&L Committee information, Faculty teaching projects, resources and staff development opportunities, etc. all linked from the same page. The intention is to produce no duplication of content, but to provide a site for the Faculty Teaching & Learning Committee business outcomes and to facilitate access to other Faculty T&L resources of particular cross-faculty relevance.
For all other T&L information of more general application you should continue to refer to the University Teaching & Learning site.

- See Through Our Eyes: a refugee perspective on Health (DVD from the Medical Education Unit) is a teaching and learning resource designed to introduce concepts in refugee health care to students beginning their studies in the Faculty of Health Science.

Faculty Staff Development Resources:

Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching for Health Professionals: a joint initiative between CALT and FHS. In-service part-time course now running in Hobart and Burnie. Follow link for more information.
MEU staff development program: the Medical Education Unit welcome other Faculty members to their program of talks and demonstrations. Topic notes, PowerPoints and short videos also available for download.
