Rural Clinical School

The Rural Clinical School provides a hub for clinical teaching and research in north west Tasmania. Based in Burnie, the School has a focus on medical undergraduate education in rural and remote settings and supports students, health professionals and researchers working in the Cradle Coast region.

The Rural Clinical School is funded by the Department of Health and Ageing - Regional Health Strategy.

RCS building extension open for use

Extensions to the RCS facility in Burnie are now complete. The expanded facilities are providing a base for forty-one undergraduate medical students studying at the RCS, as well as being used by local health professionals and trainee health professionals working in the region.Keep up to date with progress here...
